The Constable’s Office is unique in that it is low profile. The Constable needs to be there for the people and the courts, not lurking around stop signs and writing tickets. Kevin Lanham is that person. He has the integrity and reserve to be there whenever he is needed and quietly do his job.

My name is Kevin Lanham, and I am officially announcing my candidacy in the 2012 Republican primary for Constable of Parker County Precinct 4.
I have been a full-time peace officer since graduating from the University of North Texas Police academy in 2002, spending time with the White Settlement and River Oaks Police Departments before coming to the Parker County Sheriff's Office in 2005. From 2006 to 2009, I served within the PCSO as a Special Unit assigned to Aledo and surrounding areas. Since then, I have attained the rank of Corporal and currently serve as a supervisor within the patrol division.
In the past several years, I have spent most of my time patrolling, investigating crimes, and getting to know the people and businesses throughout the community. I have spoken at public drug seminars, made arrests that led to citizens and businesses recovering their stolen items, and have attempted to increase police presence by attending any local events possible, whether on-duty or off.
I have grown to love and respect this community and the people within, and feel a responsibility to improve its safety and security by increasing law enforcement presence, and providing a more aggressive stance toward public safety through community awareness and involvement.

I feel that this community deserves a public official who knows and understands the local community and its people. I believe I have already made a substantial impact on decreasing drug and criminal activity throughout Precinct 4, and hope to continue doing so on a larger scale, while upholding all duties and responsibilities, criminal and civil, of the office of Constable.
